DR. Tina M. Ballon
DR. LESLIE KOENIG
Dr. Ballon was born and raised in Louisiana and was blessed to be surrounded by many different animals. She completed her undergraduate degree in New Orleans at Tulane University and is a graduate from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a rigorous one year internship at Garden State Veterinary Specialists and developed her medical skills in: internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, dermatology, ophthalmology, neurology, oncology and emergency medicine.
I love helping animals feel better and stay healthy and look forward to the future of veterinary medicine and the advancements of Medlock Bridge Animal Hospital. I thank God for allowing me to serve clients by answering questions and guiding them with the care of their furry babies.'
Dr. Ballon is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Georgia V.M.A. and attends the Veterinary Medical Conference every year to fulfill requirements for continuing education. She lives in Suwanee with her husband John, one cats Lizzie Boo Boo Bear and one dog Cocoa Bean. She enjoys camping and the great outdoors with her three boys.
Dr. Koenig knew from a very early age growing up in the Huntsville/Madison, AL area that she wanted to be a veterinarian. After starting out with many pocket pets, her parents finally relented and got her a dog at 12 years old solidifying her dream and life long career goal. She completed her undergraduate and veterinary degree from Mississippi State University in 2011. Soon after she moved to the Atlanta area for work and joined the MBAH staff in June 2014. Dr. Koenig currently lives in Johns Creek with her husband Chris, her two children, and her menagerie of rescue animals: two cats (Smudge & Zoe) and one dog Charity whom she brings to work most days. She enjoys knitting, gardening, SEC football and of course taking care of all the various animals that come to MBAH on a daily basis.
